About the position

The Client Account Manager at Black & Veatch is responsible for initiating and maintaining relationships with senior-level clients, supporting project development, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with project directors and engineering managers to expand project scopes and deliver high-quality work. The position requires significant travel, with a flexible work schedule that accommodates both office and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships at senior levels in Client's organizations.
  • Work closely with Project Directors to identify, create, and win new projects or expand existing projects.
  • Consult with Project and Engineering Managers to ensure delivery of work products to Client's satisfaction.
  • Serve as Global Strategic Account Manager across regional boundaries.
  • Support the Market Leadership Initiative through direct involvement in sales and client management.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to foster business development initiatives.
  • Gather information regarding prospective work and Client's measures for project success.
  • Ensure presentation materials are responsive to client's needs and completed on time.
  • Attend and participate in presentations to prospective clients as requested.
  • Advise the Client of any potential impacts that may affect project success parameters.

Requirements

  • 12+ years related experience with major pursuit activities.
  • 2+ years global pursuit experience in the industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing required.
