About the position

The Client Account Manager at Black & Veatch is responsible for initiating and maintaining relationships with senior-level clients, particularly in the Fleet Electrification and vehicle charging sectors. This role involves collaborating with Project Directors to identify and secure new projects, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and project management. The position requires significant travel, with a flexible work schedule that accommodates both office and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships at senior levels in Client's organizations.
  • Work closely with Project Directors to identify, create, and win new projects or expand existing projects.
  • Consult with Project and Engineering Managers to ensure delivery of work products to Client's satisfaction.
  • Serve as Global Strategic Account Manager across regional boundaries.
  • Support the Market Leadership Initiative through involvement in sales, client development, and market intelligence.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to foster business development initiatives.
  • Gather information regarding prospective work and Client's measures for project success.
  • Ensure presentation materials are responsive to client's needs and completed on time.
  • Attend and participate in presentations to prospective clients as requested.
  • Advise the Client of any potential impacts affecting project success parameters.

Requirements

  • 12+ years related experience with major pursuit activities.
  • 2+ years global pursuit experience in the industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing required.
