About the position

The Client Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, focusing on client retention and satisfaction while driving business revenue through cross-selling services. This role involves engaging with clients through various communication methods, assessing client satisfaction, and preparing reports for management. The CAM will work closely with internal teams to meet sales quotas and growth targets, ensuring alignment with both client and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for individual account portfolio and team goals to meet annual revenue and cross-sales targets.
  • Build influential relationships with critical stakeholders to support customer growth.
  • Track and manage client account health, renewals, upsells, and contract renegotiations.
  • Proactively manage customer satisfaction and resolve issues while tracking account opportunities.
  • Manage all client account touchpoints and maintain historical account mapping.
  • Support management of system hospitals and large accounts.
  • Execute annual/bi-annual client surveys and track Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Assess client accounts to develop market awareness and opportunities for cross-sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) required.
  • 5+ years' experience in the healthcare sector in sales, consulting, strategic project management, or account management.
  • Proven experience in establishing and implementing financial growth strategies for client accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Track record of successfully growing client revenue post initial sale.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree or experience in healthcare operations, management, financial planning, or policy preferred.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional account management teams around healthcare transformation.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and identify improvement opportunities.
