About the position

The Client Account Manager at Black & Veatch Corporation is responsible for managing and expanding client relationships, particularly in the field of Fleet Electrification and vehicle charging. This role involves working closely with senior-level clients to identify and win new projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality services. The position requires a strategic approach to client management and business development, with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships and achieving financial and technical goals.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships at senior levels in Client's organizations.
  • Work closely with Project Directors to identify, create, and win new projects or expand existing projects.
  • Consult with Project and Engineering Managers to ensure delivery of work products to Client's satisfaction.
  • Serve as Global Strategic Account Manager across regional boundaries.
  • Support the Market Leadership Initiative by leading company strategies through direct involvement in sales and client development.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to foster business development initiatives.
  • Gather information regarding prospective work and the Client's measures for project success.
  • Ensure presentation materials are responsive to client's needs and completed on time.
  • Attend and participate in presentations to prospective clients as requested.
  • Advise the Client of any potential impacts that may affect project success parameters.

Requirements

  • 12+ years related experience with major pursuit activities.
  • 2+ years global pursuit experience in the industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the EV industry.
  • Ability to lead, guide, and mentor a team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and create persuasive messages.
  • Understanding of budgets and financial and performance metrics.
  • Self-starter with the ability to make decisions independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be flexible to multiple demands.
