About the position

The Client Account Support Senior Analyst role at Cigna Healthcare is a hybrid position responsible for managing a designated book of business. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, addressing inquiries, and facilitating client satisfaction through proactive service plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in client account management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various teams to resolve issues and enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for a designated book of business, ensuring service excellence for clients and broker partners.
  • Coordinate with manager and/or account manager to meet clients' needs and prevent potential problems.
  • Attend local market client/broker meetings as assigned.
  • Complete day-to-day Client Account Support tasks with minimal supervision, resolving non-routine issues escalated from junior team members.
  • Build strong relationships with clients/brokers, proactively identifying and satisfying their needs.
  • Exhibit expert knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, applying them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide support for designated Client Service Operations Lead team on issue resolution and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to understand products, benefits, and services for sold cases, making independent decisions to mitigate service risks.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge to cross-functional teams, influencing timely submissions for execution.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and effective communication for team success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Associate's degree in a related field preferred or at least 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Previous sales operations, service, or sales support experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer-centric skills and knowledge in all product and funding types strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand clients' needs and expectations quickly.
  • Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills strongly preferred.
  • Organized and experienced in meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written).
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is required.
  • Prior experience working with matrix partners and external customers is preferred.
  • Ability to attend client/broker events locally with potential travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing moderately complex client accounts.
  • Knowledge of multi-product and benefit options for dual systems, platforms, and funding types.
