About the position

Anglin Reichmann Armstrong is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Manager or Partner to lead our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) group. This role is key in driving the CAAS group's strategic direction, growth, and performance, ensuring exceptional client service. Our CAAS group focuses on leveraging technology to better serve our clients by automating many of the back-office functions that are used in the monthly accounting process. The Senior Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic plan for the CAAS group, ensuring high-quality accounting and advisory services, and maintaining timely responsiveness to clients. This position requires a strong emphasis on professional communication and the ability to anticipate the needs of clients. In addition to client service, the Senior Manager will lead and mentor the team, implementing training programs to enhance skills and foster professional development. Staying updated on industry trends, including the integration of AI in accounting, is crucial for this role, as is leading the adoption of innovative tools that can improve service delivery. The Senior Manager will also oversee operational management, including workflow, staffing, performance metrics, and technology deployment, while developing best practices to enhance efficiency. Business development is another critical aspect of this role, as the Senior Manager will actively pursue opportunities to grow both existing and new client relationships. Engaging in thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, and participation in professional organizations will also be expected.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the CAAS group's strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in public accounting or similar field, with 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; tax knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and technologies.
  • Strategic thinker, client-centric, ethical, adaptable, and capable of handling complex situations.
