About the position

Anglin Reichmann Armstrong is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Manager or Partner to lead our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) group. This role is key in driving the CAAS group's strategic direction, growth, and performance, ensuring exceptional client service. Our CAAS group focuses on leveraging technology to better serve our clients by automating many of the back-office functions that are used in the monthly accounting process. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategic plan for the CAAS group, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed client expectations in the delivery of our services. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality accounting and advisory services, maintaining timely responsiveness to clients, and fostering professional communication. You will anticipate the needs of clients and work to ensure that our services are aligned with their expectations. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team, implementing training programs to enhance their skills and capabilities, thereby contributing to their professional development. Staying updated on industry trends, particularly in technology and AI in accounting, will be crucial. You will lead the adoption of innovative tools that can enhance our service delivery and operational efficiency. Your role will also involve overseeing workflow, staffing, performance metrics, and technology deployment, as well as developing best practices to optimize our operations. Business development will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities, as you will actively pursue opportunities to grow both existing and new client relationships. Engaging in thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, and participation in professional organizations will also be part of your role, helping to position Anglin Reichmann Armstrong as a leader in the accounting industry.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the CAAS group's strategic plan.
  • Ensure high-quality accounting and advisory services, timely responsiveness to clients, and professional communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in public accounting or similar field, with 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; tax knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and technologies.
  • Strategic thinker, client-centric, ethical, adaptable, and capable of handling complex situations.
