About the position

The Client Acquisition Manager at The Ravin Group is responsible for driving new business growth in the multifamily construction sector. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in exterior building trades and sales experience to acquire new clients and maintain relationships within the market.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new clients through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Demonstrate and communicate the company's value proposition within the market to each potential client.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to generate new business.
  • Maintain constant contact to build and nurture new customer relationships.
  • Attend weekly organizational meetings to align with team objectives.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on sales activities and progress.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings.
  • Provide regular market updates and maintain a general understanding of the multifamily market.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous exterior construction sales experience.
  • Ability to read basic drawings or have a general understanding.
  • Proficient in using a tape measure.
  • Willingness to travel lightly for business purposes within a 200-mile radius of Indianapolis.
  • Capable of climbing ladders and stairs.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to walk extensively throughout the workday.
  • Flexible with scheduling to accommodate occasional evening appointments.
  • Extensive sales experience in exterior multifamily building trades.
  • Strong knowledge of exterior trade practices and materials.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently while also being receptive to direction.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using technology, including Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other reporting software.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and effective problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Smartsheet (1 year preferred).
  • Experience with Hover Reporting Software (1 year preferred).
