About the position

The Client Acquisition Manager at The Ravin Group is responsible for driving business development within the multifamily exteriors division. This role combines industry knowledge, sales expertise, and relationship-building skills to acquire new clients and expand the company's market presence. The position requires a proactive approach to outreach, market analysis, and client relationship management, with a focus on achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth of the division.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients through targeted outreach, cold calls, and networking.
  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Attend weekly organizational meetings to align with team objectives and strategies.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales activity reports.
  • Provide regular updates on market trends and maintain a solid understanding of the multifamily exteriors market.
  • Split time evenly between office-based work and field activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in exterior construction, particularly in multifamily projects.
  • Basic ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Proficient in using a tape measure and familiar with exterior trade practices and materials.
  • Ability to travel within a 200-mile radius of Indianapolis.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and stairs, with a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Physically capable of extensive walking during workdays.
  • Strong sales background with proven results in business development and client management.
  • Highly motivated, independent, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient with technology tools including Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and reporting software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Hover Reporting Software (1 year preferred)
  • Experience with Smartsheet software (1 year preferred)
