About the position

The Client Advocate - Data Center Reliability role at Critical Power Group (CPG) is designed for a dedicated professional who will serve as the voice of clients within the organization. This position emphasizes building strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and advocating for client interests to enhance the reliability and efficiency of data center operations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of data center infrastructure and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Advocate for clients' interests within the organization, ensuring their feedback and expectations are incorporated into service delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and sales representatives to ensure seamless communication and alignment on client goals.
  • Monitor the performance of data center equipment and services, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions to improve reliability.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins and meetings to review system performance, project progress, and satisfaction levels.
  • Assist clients in understanding technical aspects of their data center solutions, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work with internal teams to address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on client projects, equipment performance, and service outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend additional services to enhance client operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide informed recommendations and insights to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in data center, critical infrastructure, or technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and reliability principles.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to addressing client concerns.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site client visits.
