About the position
The Client Advocate/Mobile Outreach Coordinator at NORTHEAST MISSOURI COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY serves as the primary contact for individuals and families seeking assistance from agency programs. This role involves working primarily from the Adair County Central Office while also conducting outreach in surrounding counties to assess client needs and facilitate enrollment in appropriate programs. The position emphasizes case management and support for low-income individuals and families, aiming to enhance their self-sufficiency and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for individuals and families seeking agency program participation.
- Conduct outreach in Clark, Knox, Scotland, and Schuyler counties to assess client needs.
- Enroll clients in appropriate agency programs based on their needs.
- Set a schedule to assist low-income individuals and families with emergent needs.
- Provide ongoing case management support to clients participating in agency programs.
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college in education, business, social service, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening and participate in all required training.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation that meets Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements.
