About the position

The Client Advocate/Mobile Outreach Coordinator at CAPNEMO serves as the primary contact for individuals and families seeking assistance from agency programs. This role involves working primarily from the Adair County Central Office while also providing outreach services in Clark, Knox, Scotland, and Schuyler counties. The position focuses on assessing client needs, enrolling them in appropriate programs, and providing case management support to help clients achieve self-sufficiency and effective community interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for individuals and families seeking agency programs.
  • Assess client needs and enroll clients in appropriate agency programs.
  • Set a schedule to assist low-income individuals and families with emergent needs.
  • Provide ongoing case management support to clients participating in programs.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college in education, business, social service, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening and participate in all required training.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation that meets Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements.
