About the position

The Client Care and Staffing Coordinator at Around the Clock Care is a full-time, salaried position responsible for managing schedules, coordinating staffing, and ensuring continuity of care for clients and their families. This role involves direct communication with clients to assess satisfaction and needs, designing care plans, and overseeing the recruitment and management of caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Organize work schedules for employees by matching caregiver qualifications to clients' specific needs
  • Maintain communications with clients to ensure satisfaction and determine if expectations are being met
  • Design a care plan and ensure care plans are followed
  • Conduct in-home consultations at the start of care
  • Conduct interviews with client-caregivers before the start of care
  • Conduct home visits on an as-needed basis
  • Process data necessary to initiate accurate payroll and billing processes
  • Ensure appropriate staff is available for all shifts
  • Assess upcoming staffing needs and evaluate and assign caregivers with proper skills
  • Arrange and organize weekend on-call staffing rotation
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain a pool of qualified caregivers
  • Screen, interview, and test all applicants and make initial hiring decisions
  • Ensure proper skills for future client needs
  • Ensure hiring paperwork is handled and processed according to policy
  • Establish and maintain essential goodwill relationships with all referral sources within the community

Requirements

  • 2 years of administrative experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Mid-level administrative experience
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Strong communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Scheduling and staffing experience
  • Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously
  • Above average human relations and organizational skills
