About the position
The Client Care Specialist at Banesco USA serves as a vital point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to their accounts and banking products. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving, ensuring that client requests are handled promptly and accurately. The position requires a bilingual individual who can navigate both English and Spanish, reflecting the diverse clientele of the bank.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls regarding client inquiries and concerns about their accounts and bank products.
- Assist clients with online banking registration, access, and password resets, ensuring identity verification.
- Conduct client callbacks while maintaining confidentiality and security protocols.
- Manage complex issues or inquiries, ensuring timely completion of requests.
- Perform follow-ups on time-sensitive issues to meet SLA goals.
- Escalate issues to appropriate parties when necessary.
- Assist in tracking customer data and serve as backup for client emails and online banking messages.
- Complete the annual training program assigned and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- One year of experience in a customer service role or call center environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of State and Federal banking compliance regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client requests.
- Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Customer service skills to ensure satisfaction of internal and external customers.
