About the position

Citi is seeking Summer Associates to join the Equity Research team in New York City. This program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in equity research, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting. The role involves working closely with analysts, participating in various projects, and gaining insights into the financial markets and investment banking processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with an analyst team covering a specific industry throughout the summer.
• Take on various projects assigned by the analyst team, including Pricing Surveys, Industry Trends, Valuation Studies, and company-specific due diligence.
• Create, update, and maintain financial spreadsheets, quantitative models, and databases of assigned companies.
• Refresh marketing handouts and assist with ad-hoc client requests.
• Shadow Analysts by attending company and industry meetings as well as industry conferences.
• Present a final presentation (stock pitch) at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, graduating in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
• Creative in solving problems and intellectually curious.
• Hard-working and diligent.
• Enthusiastic, quick-thinking, and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Confident and comfortable with clients, articulate in oral and written communication.
• Focused on achieving group and client objectives.
• Detail-oriented.
