About the position

The Client Delivery Analyst I (SQL Developer) at Precision Medicine Group is a pivotal role focused on ensuring the successful delivery of services and solutions to clients. This position is fully remote, requiring the candidate to work East Coast hours. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical expertise, particularly in T-SQL, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence. The role involves supporting multiple clients under the oversight of a manager of client delivery, emphasizing ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key responsibilities include analyzing client requirements and translating them into technical specifications, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through thorough quality checks, and managing client jobs to ensure they run smoothly and on time. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients, maintain effective communication, and respond to client tickets and requests promptly. Additionally, the role involves contributing to client team meetings, taking accountability for project deliverables, and developing, testing, and deploying T-SQL scripts to support various client projects. The position also requires implementing advanced ETL processes for large datasets, following established procedures, and maintaining procedural documentation. The analyst will evaluate data appropriateness for ad hoc requests and client projects, ensuring that the code contributed is well-documented and logical. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting thorough quality checks and validations.
  • Own client jobs, ensuring they run smoothly and on-time per established calendar; identify and remediate pain points to continually improve the process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients every day.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, addressing issues promptly and providing regular updates.
  • Respond to and fulfill client tickets and requests in a timely manner with quality.
  • Contribute to client team meetings for client projects and engagements.
  • Take accountability for project deliverables, ensuring they meet established standards and client expectations.
  • Develop, test, and deploy T-SQL scripts to support various client projects.
  • Implement advanced ETL processes to acquire and load large datasets.
  • Follow established procedures and standards as outlined by leadership.
  • Maintain associated procedural documentation.
  • Evaluate appropriateness of data for ad hoc requests and client projects.
  • Contribute code that is well-documented, logical, and easy to follow.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • 1 to 3 years of industry experience in data analytics or healthcare (preferred).
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience using T-SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
  • Descriptive statistics and/or experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership for delivering high-quality work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to keep multiple projects on schedule.
  • Experience in a client-facing role or in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues within established product boundaries.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in SSIS is a plus but not required.
