About the position

The Client Experience & Office Operations Coordinator at Morrison & Foerster plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality and office operations services in the Austin office. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors, managing conference room bookings, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth office operations. The coordinator will also handle invoice processing and assist with onboarding new staff, contributing to a positive client experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reception services and create a positive impression for visitors and callers.
  • Develop and implement a VIP client recognition program.
  • Assist with food and catering orders for events and programs.
  • Manage booking of conference areas and ensure they are prepared for meetings.
  • Lead planning and coordination of office meetings and events in the Conference Center.
  • Set up and clean up for all meetings and maintain pantry supplies.
  • Provide effective service for conference room booking needs.
  • Resolve routine and non-routine questions for visitors and personnel.
  • Process invoices for the Austin office and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Serve as onsite liaison with building staff.
  • Assist the Director of Administration and Office Operations Manager with various tasks.
  • Onboard new staff and attorneys, including I-9 verification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in a front-line client service position.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry or reception for a professional services firm is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly professional interpersonal style with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently.
  • Strong sense of accountability and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational, process, and follow-through skills.
