About the position

FreightVerify is a supply chain technology company that provides real-time transportation visibility and business intelligence for global enterprise clients. Utilizing the latest IoT, data, and AI technologies, FreightVerify offers a neutral platform that simplifies complex global supply chains through a common design language to leverage new and emerging tracking technologies. In this role, you will help build next-generation web and mobile applications to transform the transportation industry. You will be responsible for business analysis, data analytics, and solution development on one or more strategic client accounts, acting as a technical advisor for our Global Enterprise Customers on their connected Supply Chain and Logistics digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate is a data-driven ‘team player' with previous exposure to supply chain management, SaaS, or business settings, comfortable working in an environment of continuous improvement, and experienced in translating customer business needs to technical requirements that drive value.

Responsibilities

  • Supports customer-facing account management team with technical expertise and data analysis.
  • Key contributor to the design, development, and planning for technology enhancements that solve complex business problems.
  • Supports client-facing management team by taking a data-driven approach to studying Client business functions and translating to technical requirements for customer onboarding or new product features.
  • Act as subject matter expert in the area of supply chain while providing a high level of technical guidance for the internal commercial and development teams.
  • With voice of customer in mind, recommend system architecture or platform enhancements.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
  • Creates informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Own and maintain all standard work documentation supporting systems integration and user story testing.
  • In collaboration with sales, delivery & customer account management team, provide product value stories and support development of solution prototypes for proof of value demonstrations.
  • Supports customer discovery activities by working directly with business and technical customer resources on requirements gathering, technical design and customer success metrics for client solution.
  • Develop standardized documentation used by all stakeholders to understand platform features, functions, delivery status, and value during new customer implementations.
  • Within ownership of standard work documentation, constructs workflow charts and diagrams supporting internal and external technical conversations with customer.
  • Proactively root cause platform issues & recommends controls/corrective action.
  • Provide first line of defense on failures of incoming data consumption from external parties by identifying errors and taking action to correct.
  • Prepare and maintain technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Build consensus and suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Facing Technical Consulting with Enterprise Level Customers.
  • Outstanding written and verbal ability, with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical projects and system implementations.
  • Proven skill with verbal and written communication with both business and technical contacts.
  • Preferred experience with IoT related projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other related preferred.
  • Specific expertise and practice of designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering in relation to specific business problems.
  • Can adequately describe how different components of business, information, and technology architectures are used in a solution; bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions.
  • Experience and practice building process workflows, writing business and technical requirements, and communication of business results with given timeframes and resources.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IoT related projects.
