About the position

As a Client Manager at Charles River, you will focus on strategic clients to ensure their satisfaction, retention, and growth. This role involves advocating for clients within the organization and serving as a trusted advisor, working closely with client senior leaders to align strategies and foster long-term partnerships. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring effective delivery of projects and services while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with both clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of Charles River IMS accounts with a high touch engagement model.
  • Develop relationships with senior client personnel to understand client strategy and alignment with CRD.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Charles River IMS and current product offerings.
  • Communicate frequently with internal account teams and wealth management business units.
  • Establish long-term strategic objectives for each client and measure success against account goals.
  • Proactively resolve client issues and ensure effective project delivery.
  • Assist the internal Sales team in identifying revenue opportunities.
  • Stay informed about investment management market trends relevant to clients.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Technology or relevant discipline.
  • 7 years' experience in the Financial Services/Software industry, preferably in Asset Management and Relationship Management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to foster relationships with senior managers and decision makers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous priorities.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites 20% - 40% per year.
