About the position

The Client Onboarding Specialist role at Wells Fargo involves managing the onboarding process for clients within the Corporate and Investment Bank. This contract position focuses on supporting the Sales team, particularly in the Sponsored Products group, by overseeing the end-to-end onboarding process, which includes document collection, account opening, and configuration. The specialist will also contribute to project work related to Treasury Clearing and enhance the onboarding process through effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client onboarding for specific sales desks within the Corporate and Investment Bank.
  • Support the Sales team and report to the New Business Management Group.
  • Assist with the end-to-end onboarding process for clients, including document collection and account opening.
  • Participate in project work related to Treasury Clearing, managing project deadlines and providing updates.
  • Manage the pipeline of clients being onboarded, establish priorities, and provide regular status updates.
  • Design and implement an enhanced onboarding process, including checklists and milestone tracking.
  • Submit requests for account opening and new client onboarding.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Relationship Managers, and clients to collect necessary agreements and documents.
  • Act as a central point of contact for onboarding matters, setting priorities and driving execution.
  • Coordinate with the Negotiation Team to ensure necessary documentation is in place.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
  • Project Management/Financial Services experience.
  • Familiarity with Client Onboarding and Data Management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
