About the position

ADP is hiring a Client Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for small business clients after they purchase ADP's industry-leading payroll and HR solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with clients and ensure they are set up for long-term success with ADP's technologies. This position is crucial as it directly impacts the day-to-day lives of clients' employees, from managing paychecks to health benefits and beyond. You will spend most of your day answering calls from clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring they are comfortable using our products and services. Each day will present new challenges as you will interact with different clients across various industries, tailoring solutions to meet their unique requirements. To excel in this role, you must thrive in a metrics-driven call center environment, demonstrating professionalism and the ability to build rapport with clients. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, should be clear and effective, ensuring clients understand and can act on the information provided. Responsibilities

  • Onboard Clients by creating exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation.
  • Implement ADP Technologies by analyzing existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes.
  • Partner Internally by collaborating with ADP associates in sales and customer service, exchanging routine information with the client project team.
  • Multi-Task & Communicate by managing multiple time-sensitive follow-ups/projects and sharing essential information with clients and internal teams.
  • Adhere to a daily schedule and organize to handle a high volume of inbound calls.

Requirements

  • Prior experience is not required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work overtime hours during peak seasons.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required; skills and adaptability are more important.
  • Military experience is acceptable, emphasizing teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through.
