About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Client Onboarding Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding process for our clients. Your attention to detail and strong operational background will be key in delivering exceptional client service. You will conduct thorough and accurate onboarding processes for new clients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and filed according to company policies and procedures. As the main point of contact for the internal Marsh Client Service Team during the onboarding process, you will respond promptly and professionally to any inquiries or concerns. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services to effectively communicate with clients and address any questions or concerns they may have. Monitoring and tracking the progress of each client onboarding will be part of your responsibilities, identifying and addressing any potential roadblocks or delays. You will also maintain accurate and organized client records, adhering to company confidentiality and security protocols. Proactively identifying areas for improvement in the onboarding process and making recommendations to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction will be crucial. You will adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring all client onboarding processes are in accordance with industry standards. Participation in team meetings and training sessions will help you stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry developments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and accurate onboarding processes for new clients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and filed according to company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the internal Marsh Client Service Team during the onboarding process, responding promptly and professionally to any inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services to effectively communicate with clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Monitor and track progress of each client onboarding, identifying and addressing any potential roadblocks or delays.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of insurance industry or client support experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments, and effectively multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with client relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to client onboarding is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Client onboarding and/or related insurance industry subject matter expertise.
  • Previous experience in operations, client services, or a similar role.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Previous experience or exposure to project management.
