The Client Operations Accounts Receivable Transaction Specialist's main duties will be to ensure all assigned client's reconciliations are completed timely, and results analyzed for process improvements and reported to the Client Service team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The specialist will be responsible for posting any missing payments to accounts through the RP function for client reconciliation processes, analyzing missing transactions, and working with the Client Operations team on process improvements. Additionally, the specialist will report all findings of the reconciliation to the Client Operations Analysts and Client Operations Supervisor, complete client-specific reports and requirements in a timely manner, and maintain a thorough and effective contingency plan to ensure client service level expectations are met at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Post any missing payments to accounts through RP function for client reconciliation process.
  • Analyze missing transactions and work with Client Operations team on process improvements.
  • Report all findings of the recon to the Client Operations Analysts and Client Operations Supervisor.
  • Complete client-specific reports and requirements in a timely manner.
  • Meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions and redefined priorities.
  • Take initiative and action to respond, resolve, and follow up regarding AR Transaction issues and client requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a thorough and effective contingency plan to ensure client service level expectations are met at all times.
  • Monitor client collections and placements, and report discrepancies to management and IT.

Requirements

  • GED/High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of related office clerical support experience is preferred
  • 2+ years of Healthcare related background and/or industry experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of client requirements and guidelines
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word
  • Knowledge in 10 key by touch typing
  • Understanding of billing and recovery cycle
  • Understanding of legal rules and regulations pertaining to billing, collections, and HIPAA
