About the position

The Account Executive/Client Partner at ChaiOne is a sales hunter responsible for securing new business and driving revenue growth. This role involves selling ChaiOne's innovative digital services to new clients, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology sales, particularly in digital transformation and custom software development, and will be adept at advising clients on innovative solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Convert potential clients into paying customers for digital services.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Establish and manage client relationships, navigating through sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
  • Understand the client's technology needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
  • Drive strategic initiatives with client teams towards measurable business goals.
  • Leverage existing partnership programs to generate opportunities (Microsoft and Apple).
  • Align corporate solutions to meet customer's business needs and technical requirements.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate leads and expand professional networks.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to align sales strategies with marketing efforts.
  • Provide sales forecasts and regular updates to the executive team on progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with practice leads to explore and penetrate identified opportunities.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are aligned with company policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of client-facing sales experience in technical consulting or custom software development.
  • 4+ years of sales experience targeting Director and Vice President levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed quotas and grow accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell product modernization, custom development, and voice of customer solutions to ISVs.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell into manufacturing, energy, and power verticals.
  • Expertise in generative AI use cases and exposure to tech stacks such as OpenAI.
  • Technical and business aptitude to guide discussions and decisions at both strategic and detailed levels.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Marketing or related field.
