About the position

As a Client Partnerships Manager at CJ, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our advertisers by acting as an extension of their team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and nurture all publisher relationships while creating recruitment and optimization campaigns tailored to each advertiser's needs. You will contribute significantly to the development of a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy for each client, ensuring its successful execution. This includes managing Client Partnerships Associates who will assist in the tactical execution of these strategies. In this role, you will prepare strategic and revenue-generating opportunities to present directly to clients. You will identify new sources of revenue by owning and building top-tier publisher relationships, negotiating media placements and packages, evaluating performance, and making informed recommendations for future investments. Your ability to recruit, manage, and develop these relationships will be crucial, as you will communicate expectations, share best practices, disseminate offers and promotions, and provide regular account updates to an advertiser's growing publisher base. Additionally, you will help advertisers maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of their affiliate spend by building and interpreting program performance data. This position also offers a growth opportunity where you may lead the overall strategy and execution of an advertiser's affiliate program. As part of a Client Development team, you will collaborate with cross-departmental teams to identify and troubleshoot complex program management and technical challenges, ensuring accurate execution and timeliness of internal and client deliverables. Mentoring is also a key aspect of this role, as you will coach and provide guidance to Client Partnerships Associates, helping them succeed at CJ. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, effective communication, and a results-oriented approach to problem-solving, all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or related work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the online marketing industry, ideally in digital performance marketing.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to convey complex results simply.
  • Strong business acumen with a competent command of digital marketing concepts.
  • Ability to influence and develop account strategies based on analysis and insights.
  • Proven ability to execute tasks within designated time frames and deliver exceptional quality results.
  • Results-oriented problem solver.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
