About the position

The Client Portfolio Manager for Airport Operations at Allied Universal is responsible for leading the security division at the Atlanta Airport. This role focuses on enhancing client experiences, building long-term relationships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery by managing a team of security personnel. The position requires a strong background in security management, particularly within the aviation industry, and aims to meet operational goals while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of officers, supervisors, admin staff, and managers, providing coaching and support.
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with clients by understanding their security needs.
  • Deliver high-quality service by overseeing the Airport Operations Security Team and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze and report on operational metrics and KPIs to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks by developing and implementing security protocols and training plans.
  • Manage budget allocation and drive revenue growth while controlling expenses.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Security Administration, Public Administration, Aviation Management, Criminal Justice, business or a related field with five years of management experience in the security industry/military/law enforcement.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with more than five years of management experience in the security industry/military/law enforcement.
  • High School diploma with ten years of management experience in the security industry/military/law enforcement.
  • Valid state of Georgia driver's license with a clean record and completion of airport training program.
  • Ability to obtain AAAE Airport Certified Employee (ACE) designation for Security within one year and AAAE Certified Member (CM) designation within two years.
  • Minimum of one year of experience driving operational and/or financial metrics with strong financial acumen.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in successfully building and developing teams.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a manager for accounts in aviation/airports.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in law enforcement, military, or contract security services within an airport or aviation division.
  • Experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation.
