About the position

The Client Quantitative Senior Analyst at Bank of America is responsible for leading analytical efforts within a dedicated business area, utilizing various resources across analytical teams. This role involves leveraging multiple databases to acquire customer and performance data, delivering insights to drive complex business decisions, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and propose solutions to business problems. The analyst will also serve as a subject matter expert in data lineage for Consumer and Small Business Anti-Money Laundering, ensuring quality and consistency in data practices across lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver analytical work efforts for a dedicated business area or function.
  • Utilize multiple databases to acquire customer and performance data.
  • Deliver insightful data to drive complex business decisions or processes.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration across the Analytics organization.
  • Communicate with Senior managers and Analytics executives to understand business problems.
  • Document and provide definitions for processes, data models, and data lineage.
  • Analyze information from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • Collaborate with technology teams and other stakeholders to drive solutions.
  • Review and provide input to technical solution designs from a business perspective.
  • Communicate plans, progress, and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working with multiple databases, data structures, data modeling, and data mapping.
  • Demonstrated application of innovative technical solutions to complex data challenges.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and data provisioning modeling.
  • Ability to drive execution through disciplined oversight and build strong relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Consumer & Small Business Banking.
  • Experience with programming in SQL, SAS, Python, Collibra.
  • Familiarity with databases and file systems such as Oracle and Hadoop.
