About the position

The Client Relations Manager at The Right Fluff Pet Sitting is a key client-facing role responsible for managing client interactions, marketing initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves a mix of administrative tasks and direct client support, primarily performed remotely with some in-person obligations related to pet care. The role requires strong communication skills and a passion for pets, as well as the ability to adapt to changing demands throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client communications and questions via phone and email
  • Tactfully resolve client complaints, coordinating follow-ups with staff and management
  • Lead marketing projects, including social media management, local outreach, and community engagement
  • Follow up with new client leads across multiple platforms
  • Create and execute client engagement initiatives to strengthen client relationships and increase retention
  • Assist with in-person onboarding meetings with new clients
  • Maintain client records, update service instructions, and manage client information in the database
  • Collaborate with the Operations Lead on managing client keys, access information, and supplies
  • Occasionally assist with scheduling tasks, including processing service requests and staff schedules
  • Provide pet care support for team members during emergencies or time off
  • Be part of the on-call rotation for evening or weekend shifts
  • Be available for occasional in-person pet care tasks, such as walking dogs or pet sitting
  • Manage staff communications related to client inquiries
  • Ensure that staff is meeting expectations and following through on client requests
  • Help with staff onboarding and training, particularly focusing on customer service

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Access to an insured vehicle
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • Own a smartphone with a data plan
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Experience in marketing, customer service, or a related field is highly preferred
  • A self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • A love for pets and the ability to connect with both animals and their owners

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of experience in client relations, customer service, or marketing
  • Familiarity with online tools such as G Suite, WIX, social media platforms, and scheduling software (Time to Pet, Slack)
  • Previous experience in the pet care industry is a bonus but not required
