About the position
The Customer Relations Manager at Lapointe Insurance Agency is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, and facilitating their interactions with various service departments. This role emphasizes effective communication, problem-solving, and a strong understanding of insurance concepts to ensure client satisfaction and support their needs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Engage in several forms of communication in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner (i.e. make and receive phone calls, write emails, follow up on voicemails, etc.).
- Mediate client interactions with service departments, sales departments, and insurance producers.
- Navigate several databases to collect information to provide an accurate description of an account's standing.
- Discuss insurance concepts, coverages, and claim scenarios in a way that is easy for a client to understand.
- Act as a point of contact for complaints and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Use creative problem-solving to apply underwriting guidelines and knowledge of insurance coverages to find a best-fit solution for clients.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in the insurance industry
- P&C Insurance License required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible mindset, able to organize and structure your own tasks based on priority.
- Team player with a great attitude - we're looking for motivated individuals!
- Ability and willingness to learn new computer programs and insurance concepts
- Computer proficiency - Able to learn how to use and navigate multiple databases and computer systems at a time.
Nice-to-haves
- Associate degree (Preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
