About the position

The Client Relations Manager at Cathedral Corporation is responsible for overseeing client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are met. This role involves direct communication with clients to clarify project details, coordinating with internal teams to facilitate production, and maintaining high standards of client service throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Confer with clients regarding project specifications including project timing, data elements, materials, and special handling instructions for electronic and print/mail applications.
  • Initiate planning and document layout of clients' project specifications through client order form, schedule tests, and setup timeframes for ongoing projects.
  • Facilitate the introduction of and monitor progress of projects throughout production, conferring with internal departments' personnel to expedite timely processing of projects in accordance with clients' requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with technical and production personnel, one-on-one and in group settings, to provide technical or design solutions for clients.
  • Communicate project status, problems, or changes to clients, internal departments, and sales.
  • Escalate issues to Management as needed.
  • Solicit and resolve inquiries, changes, and complaints.
  • Participate in quality control reviews of test and live data project proofs with internal teams and coordinate written approval/change process with clients.
  • Inspect artwork, ink samples, and proofs for project materials.
  • Obtain client approval of materials and coordinate with Purchasing Agent the ordering and delivery of materials.
  • Ensure that clients provide required project deliverables (e.g. data, materials, & postage) to meet production deadlines.
  • Keep accurate records on all projects and client contacts for future reference.
  • Completion of special projects and tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in client service and/or project coordination preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and client service focused.
  • Adaptable to change and team-oriented.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Effective planning and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
