About the position

The Client Relations Specialist role at Guidant Financial is a fully remote position focused on supporting the Bookkeeping and Tax Services department. This position involves managing client communications, addressing technical accounting inquiries, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities

• Lead communication process with clients.
• Triage and answer technical accounting, product, pricing, and process questions.
• Manage and prevent client escalations using customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Guide clients through product changes and follow up on resolutions.
• Prepare and explain add-on billing charges.
• Process client terminations.
• Deliver high-quality bookkeeping and tax service to a portfolio of clients.
• Understand client business models to support with products and processes.
• Advise on client communication and best practices.
• Support maintenance, onboarding, and tax teams as needed.
• Contribute to department and team projects.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience required.
• Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)/Certification highly desired.
• 3 years of progressive bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
• 3 years of client servicing experience handling tasks of various complexity for small business owners.
• Understands small business accounting and tax services.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Skills in problem solving, process improvement, critical thinking, and prioritization.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment as a self-directed worker.
