About the position
The Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) at U.S. Bank is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through various channels, including in-person and virtual interactions. This role focuses on understanding clients' banking needs, providing tailored financial advice, and promoting banking products and services. The consultant will engage in proactive outreach, educate clients on digital banking solutions, and ensure a high-quality client experience while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Engage with clients via multiple channels to assess their banking needs.
- Process customer and account information accurately.
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
- Open new consumer and business accounts and complete service requests.
- Submit credit applications and maintain a working knowledge of banking products.
- Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to serve clients effectively.
- Leverage resources and technologies to enhance the client experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
