About the position

The Client Relationship Consultant at U.S. Bank is responsible for building strong relationships with customers through face-to-face interactions, providing tailored financial advice, and addressing their banking needs. This role involves originating and closing consumer loans, opening accounts, and managing branch operations, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through face-to-face engagement.
• Assess and attend to customers' banking needs by providing tailored financial counsel.
• Obtain and process customer and account information accurately.
• Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
• Recommend financial solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs.
• Originate and close consumer loans effectively.
• Open and close accounts as required.
• Manage branch operations, including opening and closing the branch.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to four years of customer service experience.
• Three to four years of sales experience.

• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation, and systems.
