About the position

The Client Relationship Consultant 3 (Banker) at U.S. Bank is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through various channels, including in-person and virtual interactions. This role focuses on understanding clients' banking needs, providing tailored financial advice, and promoting the bank's products and services. The consultant is expected to leverage digital tools to enhance client experiences and ensure operational excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with clients to assess their banking needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing transactions.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts and complete service requests.
  • Educate clients on emerging digital products and services to meet their financial needs.
  • Collaborate with branch team members to best serve clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four to five years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies and procedures.
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations based on customer needs.
