About the position
The Client Relationship Manager I (CRM I) is responsible for developing relationships with prospective clients by identifying the financial needs of those clients and to fill those needs with the wide range of products and services offered by United Business Bank. These products and services may include extensions of commercial and/or real estate credits, demand, savings or time deposit account products or other services offered. They are responsible for analyzing a clients loan request and determining whether a loan is within an acceptable risk within the framework of the Banks policy and for preparing the required documents and submitting it for approval. The CRM I is also responsible for providing service to existing client relationships, as well as to represent the Bank through involvement in local, civic, social, and professional organizations. The CRM I is also responsible for retaining and growing the loan and deposit relationships, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with prospective clients by identifying their financial needs.
- Fill client needs with a range of products and services offered by the bank.
- Analyze clients' loan requests and determine acceptable risk levels.
- Prepare required documents and submit for loan approval.
- Provide service to existing client relationships.
- Represent the bank in local, civic, social, and professional organizations.
- Retain and grow loan and deposit relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Knowledge of banking and lending regulations and standard practices.
- Minimum of five to seven years of previous banking experience.
- Minimum of three to five years of previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Emphasis in credit portfolio management and analytics required.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong math skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify, analyze and handle credit requests.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good personal computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
