About the position

The Client Relationship Manager at Freeman is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients, focusing on sales and customer service. This role involves processing orders, managing billing, and ensuring excellent service delivery while working closely with logistics teams. The position supports the Client Relationships group under the Growth (Sales) team and allows for a hybrid work schedule, typically requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Process orders and manage billing for clients.
• Perform outbound sales calls, including cold calling and lead follow-up.
• Prospect new customers through various sales techniques.
• Up-sell current customers to increase sales volume.
• Prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
• Act as the primary representative for assigned accounts throughout the Freeman Sales Cycle.
• Attend industry events to generate business leads.
• Supervise jobs on-site as required and manage event job costing.
• Respond to customer complaints and handle payment collection processes.
• Record activities in the company CRM system and prepare business transaction reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or High School Diploma with relevant work experience.
• 3 or more years of related sales experience.
• Proven ability to manage a book of accounts generating approximately $500 thousand or more in revenue.
• Knowledge of sales systems such as TSS and Salesforce.com is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
