About the position

The Client Relationship Manager at Freeman is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing accounts, focusing on sales and customer service. This role involves processing orders, managing billing, and soliciting new business while ensuring excellent service to clients. The position supports the Client Relationships group under the Growth (Sales) team and requires a hybrid work schedule, primarily based in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships and solicit business with new and existing accounts.
  • Process orders and complete billing for clients.
  • Perform outbound sales calls, including cold calling and lead follow-up.
  • Prospect customers through cold calls and referrals.
  • Up-sell current customers to increase sales volume.
  • Develop and present proposals to potential clients.
  • Quote prices and credit terms in compliance with company policies.
  • Act as the primary representative for assigned accounts throughout the sales cycle.
  • Attend industry events to generate business opportunities.
  • Re-sign existing business contracts.
  • Produce and review orders with operational personnel.
  • Confirm jobs and prepare service plan requirements.
  • Supervise jobs on-site as required.
  • Manage event job costing and address customer complaints.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and handle payment collection processes.
  • Prepare business transaction reports and record activities in the CRM system.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure service excellence through follow-up calls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or High School Diploma with relevant work experience required.
  • 3 or more years of related sales experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a book of accounts generating approximately $500 thousand or more in revenue.
  • Knowledge of sales systems such as TSS and Salesforce.com is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
