About the position

The Client Relationship Specialist (CRS) at Buckingham Strategic Wealth enhances the client experience by providing exceptional service and supporting advisors with operational needs. The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and advisors through effective communication and outstanding operational support. The CRS is the first point of contact for clients visiting the office and is responsible for scheduling remote meetings and phone calls. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing associates to work both in the office and from home.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed the Service Standards for the department
  • Demonstrate and model the firm's core values through work and actions
  • Complete Associate Goals on time and contribute to Team Plans
  • Provide quick and accurate answers to operational questions from advisors and clients
  • Facilitate all monetary, maintenance, and paperwork requests through CRM
  • Monitor pending new accounts and transfers
  • Handle communication between custodians and advisors or clients, including custodial issue research
  • Analyze processes and procedures for improvements or efficiencies
  • Engage in job shadowing and educational opportunities to learn the business
  • Provide on-demand and scheduled reports to advisors and clients
  • Participate in weekly Client Service meetings and other assigned committee meetings
  • Review quarterly reports for accuracy and collate letters
  • Track and complete special projects throughout the year, including advisor notifications and year-end RMDs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years work experience in the financial services industry OR 4+ years work experience in the financial services industry
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems & Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and custodians
  • Ability to be a self-starter and self-manage
  • Strong communication, listening, and relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through for maximum client satisfaction
  • Highly service-oriented
  • Team player and collaborative
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch priorities when necessary
