The Client Revenue Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process from the new client/matter intake to collections, with a sharp focus on reducing lock-up and improving cash flow and realization. This role is critical in coordinating the intake, billing, and collection efforts of the shared service centers and serves as the single point of contact between Billing Partners and client legal operations teams, as well as the finance technical support teams, strategic pricing, and other stakeholders such as practice group business managers. The position requires a proactive approach to managing financial processes and ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines. In this role, the analyst will act as a finance business partner, advising Partners on inventory management and making recommendations to enhance financial performance and client service concerning billing and collections processes. As the In-Market steward of the end-to-end Q2C process, the analyst must understand all relevant procedures, policies, and tools, using this expertise to guide lawyers and other personnel in addressing process issues as they arise. This includes coordinating with other finance functions to resolve any process or capacity issues that may occur. The Client Revenue Analyst will also take ownership of implementing client Outside Counsel Billing Guidelines to ensure compliance, working closely with finance technical support teams and others to ensure that invoices are delivered in line with client requirements and that payments are made according to agreed terms. The role requires a curious mindset and a dedication to continuous improvement in all aspects of Q2C, business partnering, and finance operations, as well as the capability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented, dynamic environment.
