About the position
The Client Sales Intern position at Echo Global Logistics offers a unique opportunity for university students to gain hands-on experience in the logistics and sales industry. Interns will work closely with a mentor on real-world projects, enhancing their communication and problem-solving skills while contributing to the company's mission of simplifying transportation for clients and carriers. This 10-week paid internship is designed to foster a collaborative environment where interns can develop their professional skills and potentially transition into full-time roles.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and manage account relationships
- Profile and analyze accounts to overcome objections and generate quality opportunities
- Present the value of Echo's services to prospective and existing clients
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure world-class customer service on every shipment
- Work with teammates to prioritize and service customers in a timely fashion
- Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage, on-time performance, and resolution of mid-transit issues
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
- Able to work in the Detroit office 3 days and hybrid 2 days a week
- Must be able to start June 2, 2025 and complete the entire 10-week program
