About the position

The Client Service Associate (Teller) Lead at Vectra Bank is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while leading the daily activities of client service associates at the Grand Junction branch. This role involves coaching staff, developing action plans to meet branch goals, and ensuring quality service while protecting against loss. The position also includes expanding the client base through effective selling techniques and may involve processing cash transactions and other customer service duties.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily activities of client service associates.
  • Coach and counsel branch staff to improve customer service, sales, and operational skills.
  • Develop action plans to meet individual and branch goals.
  • Ensure the branch provides quality service while protecting against loss.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of branch operations.
  • Supervise branch activities in the absence of or in conjunction with the branch management team.
  • Expand client base through successful selling and coaching techniques, including lending applications and cross-selling bank services and products.
  • Process cash transactions and perform other customer service duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience, or successful completion of company-approved training.
  • Advanced knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, and bank products.
  • Working knowledge of math.
  • Solid balancing and customer service skills.
  • Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.
