About the position

The Client Service Associate plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support to clients of Nevin P. Samuy, CFP, EA. This position serves as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their inquiries are addressed and issues resolved promptly. The associate will utilize CRM software to manage client accounts and assist in the creation and management of financial plans, contributing to overall client satisfaction and relationship development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service and support to ensure client satisfaction
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Utilize CRM software to manage client accounts and track interactions
  • Schedule client meetings with appropriate advisor
  • Attend client meetings in a technical, supporting and learning role
  • Receive and review client financial information
  • Utilize proprietary and commercially available financial planning tools
  • Assist in creation of financial plans, which includes data gathering and analysis, development of recommendations, implementation and ongoing portfolio management
  • Consistently review accounts for compliance requirements
  • Develop client relationships, which includes ongoing and regular client contact and communications
  • Assist advisors and clients in completing application, enrollment and other forms as needed
  • Client service, which includes planning updates, portfolio changes and reviews, information data gathering, portfolio returns and new opportunity identification
  • Greet clients and guests in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner
  • Answer telephones and direct callers to appropriate member of the firm
  • Complete special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a client services or customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing client relationships
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience in project management is a plus
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management principles
