About the position
The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) plays a crucial role in managing the flow of clients and pets through the veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service. The CSC is responsible for maximizing the productivity of the veterinary medical team while fostering a welcoming environment for clients and their pets. This position emphasizes client education, effective communication, and the promotion of hospital services to encourage client retention and referrals.
Responsibilities
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets.
- Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient operations.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times.
- Encourage hospital visits and ensure clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital.
- Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients with documentation and entering pet information into the system.
- Assist outgoing clients by providing necessary instructions, information, and invoices.
- Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following proper procedures.
- Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills and a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in a veterinary or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in managing financial transactions and administrative tasks.
