About the position

The Client Service Coordinator at Marathon Nursing is responsible for maintaining effective communication between the organization and its clients, ensuring that both client needs and company goals are met. This entry-level position involves recruiting and hiring nursing staff, managing client relations, and collaborating with clinical and business teams to achieve operational success. The role requires excellent customer service skills and offers opportunities for rapid internal growth into leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in client relations by building sustainable relationships of trust through open and informed communication with clients/families.
  • Coordinate all staffing needs for the organization's clients, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and scheduling new staff members.
  • Communicate at a high level with Clinical leadership and the entire team to ensure client safety and program compliance.
  • Actively participate in business operations, understanding and assessing the branch's financial metrics and KPIs to achieve branch goals.
  • Assist with administrative processes such as payroll, billing, and personnel management.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of all company policies and procedures.
  • Identify current and future concerns or problems and use sound judgment to find solutions, relying on available resources as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call scheduling needs by coordinating call outs and/or field staff tardiness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient and professional phone and communication skills
  • Ability to participate in after-hours on-call schedule
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • A positive, solution-oriented attitude

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred but not required)
  • Six (6) months' experience in agency staffing or recruiting
  • One (1) year previous office work experience
  • Healthcare experience a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
