About the position

The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) at Banfield Pet Hospital plays a crucial role in managing the flow of clients and pets through the hospital. This position is responsible for maximizing the productivity of the veterinary medical team while ensuring excellent communication and care for clients and their pets. The CSC is expected to create a welcoming environment, educate clients about services, and promote the hospital's offerings to encourage repeat visits and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital.
• Maximize the productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information entry.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following proper procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year related experience required, with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks under distracting conditions.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational ability and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a veterinary or medical setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
