About the position

The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) plays a crucial role in managing the flow of clients and pets through the veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient service delivery and communication. The CSC is responsible for maximizing the productivity of the veterinary medical team while providing exceptional client care, promoting hospital services, and fostering a welcoming environment for clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital.
  • Maximize the productivity of the veterinary medical team.
  • Provide professional and exceptional service to clients and pets.
  • Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
  • Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information entry.
  • Manage outgoing client interactions, including providing instructions and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and balances.
  • Conduct necessary administrative functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 18 years old for duties involving radiography.
  • One year of related experience required, preferably in customer service.
  • Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical) with medical terminology training preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a veterinary or medical setting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of pet health and wellness plans.
