About the position

The Client Service team is the backbone of Guidepoint's success, responsible for efficiently delivering services to clients globally. This Healthcare Research Manager position is designed for individuals looking to advance their careers while honing their project, people, and relationship management skills in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. The role involves understanding each client's unique business questions and helping them gain critical insights to make informed business decisions. In this position, you will assist clients in collecting primary research insights that are essential for refining business-critical strategies, including new market entries, product launches, acquisitions, and licensing deals. You will manage client requests, which include project scope changes, expert scheduling, follow-up queries, and facilitating new project requests. Your expertise will be crucial in researching, identifying, and recruiting appropriate experts for private discussions, meetings, and surveys, ensuring that these experts are effectively connected to your clients. Additionally, you will develop effective screening criteria, understand compliance requirements, and master Guidepoint's proprietary CRM system. Collaboration with the Sales and Relationship Management teams will be essential to optimize client use of Guidepoint's services. You will also communicate with teammates across different offices to ensure seamless transitions between time zones on critical client requests, while adhering to client-specific compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients collect primary research insights to explore and refine business-critical strategies.
  • Manage client requests including project scope changes, expert scheduling, and follow-up queries.
  • Research, identify, and recruit appropriate experts for private telephone discussions, meetings, and surveys.
  • Develop effective screening criteria and understand each client's compliance requirements.
  • Master Guidepoint's proprietary CRM system.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Relationship Management teams to optimize client use of Guidepoint's services.
  • Communicate with teammates in other offices to ensure seamless transitions between time zones on critical client requests.
  • Follow any client-specific compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multi-pronged email threads
  • Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Process-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Advanced professional communication skills
  • Experience with consulting or professional services is a plus.
