About the position

The Client Service Manager III (CSM III) at United Business Bank is responsible for overseeing the operations of a complex branch, ensuring efficient and accurate performance in various banking functions. This role involves managing teller functions, new account setups, and background operations while adhering to bank policies and procedures. The CSM III also plays a key role in cross-selling bank products, training staff, and maintaining operational expenses within budget. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure excellent client service and compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the efficient and effective performance of all operations functions of the branch.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain expenses and losses as defined within the annual budget.
  • Encourage non-interest income whenever possible.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to clients.
  • Provide training and support to staff in cross-selling efforts.
  • Assist Client Relationship Managers with outside calls to businesses and clients.
  • Review management reports and daily callbacks.
  • Process insufficient funds and overdraft accounts.
  • Solve problems associated with item and data processing.
  • Assist Regional Branch Administration and Directors with duties and projects as requested.
  • Ensure clients are served promptly, courteously, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Train direct reports in their assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Report any losses to the Chief Operating Officer immediately.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of banking experience.
  • Previous management experience in a banking environment.
  • Knowledge of Teller, New Account, and Operations procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of banking regulations and standard practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to operate related computer hardware and business equipment.
