About the position

The Client Service Manager at U.S. Bank is responsible for managing and overseeing Investment Services accounts for clients, ensuring high levels of customer service and retention. This role involves overseeing support staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements while managing relationship revenue and expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee Investment Services accounts of various sizes established by clients.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Ensure retention and expansion of relationship revenue.
  • Oversee work processed by Investment Services support staff and Trust Operations.
  • Ensure account activities comply with governing agreements and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically five to eight years of job-related experience, preferably in institutional trust and/or financial industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of trust administration, products, and sales.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to develop new business.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Thorough knowledge of account management and trust operations.
  • Project management experience.
  • Understanding of legal regulations related to trust services.
