About the position

As a Client Service Manager at Gallagher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service within our small business division. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about building strong relationships with clients and are eager to collaborate with the sales team to achieve shared goals. You will be responsible for guiding clients through a range of issues, from simple inquiries to more complex challenges, ensuring that they receive the best possible solutions in a timely manner. Your leadership will be crucial in the renewal process, where you will secure existing business and drive the sale of additional services and lines of coverage. In this role, you will nurture relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations, including day-to-day representatives and decision-makers. You will also mentor your team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development through transparent feedback and strong talent development practices. Conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with standards and service levels will be part of your responsibilities, as will maintaining accurate client and policy data within the Gallagher system. You will leverage Gallagher's technology to enhance productivity and quality while effectively managing multiple competing priorities. This position requires a resilient and adaptable mentality, especially in the face of shifting priorities. You will be expected to develop professional relationships with both internal and external partners, demonstrating your eagerness to collaborate with all Gallagher teams and employees. Your contributions will not only impact the clients you serve but also the overall success of Gallagher's mission in the risk management landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Take a leadership role in the renewal process to ensure the best possible solutions are delivered to clients in a high quality and timely manner.
  • Secure existing business and drive the sale of additional services and lines of coverage.
  • Nurture relationships with your buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives.
  • Guide your team members in addressing a client's risk management needs through consultative conversations.
  • Mentor Client Service team members through continuous learning, transparent feedback, and strong talent development.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance standards and service levels are met.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy data and documents within the Gallagher system.
  • Use Gallagher's technology to improve productivity and quality.
  • Effectively manage multiple competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 1+ years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School degree/GED with a minimum of 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
